Wind Mitigation:

 

Wind mitigation is a strategy designed to limit the amount of wind damage inflicted on a structure. Various incentives are in place to motivate homeowners to implement these enhancements, a qualified inspector can determine which improvements are necessary and it is our experience that most homes in this area have some form of mitigation in place that will help decrease expense of home owners insurance.   • Roof decking attachment

  • Truss to exterior wall attachment

  • Opening protection (ie: hurricane shutters, Florida approved impact windows etc)

4-Point Inspection:

 

Many insurance carriers require this inspection for home owners insurance and renewals on existing policies. The report includes the age, type of material and overall condition of the components.

 

4-point includes:

  • Roof

  • Electrical

  • Plumbing

  • HVAC

Roof Inspection:

 

This inspection is designed to provide roof condition for insurance purposes. To determine the overall useful life of roof covering.

 

Determining remaining useful life:

  • Age of installation

  • Type of roof material

  • Granule loss

  • Torn or gouged roof covering

  • Vegitation in contact with roof covering
